Event Submission Guidelines:

  • Events must promote and embody the spirit of Sacramento craft beer. The emphasis should be on quality beer that celebrates independent brewers, using traditional brewing techniques and embracing an innovative and pioneering spirit.
  • Events should be about craft beer and presented in a way that adds a cultural, educational, activity-oriented, or culinary context to the beer. Push your team to be creative.
  • Most importantly, events must be true events — meaning they must feature a special, unique or rare selection of beer, activity, guest and/or food component, and are generally considered special, exceptional occasions, not something that would be held on any given day of the year.
  • Sac Beer Week WILL NOT approve events centered on discounts or giveaways that are typical happy hours, pint nights or beer specials, that solely promote ‘every day’ tap lists, or that encourage people to drink irresponsibly.
