The 8th annual Sacramento Beer Week 2017 starts with the Sacramento Brewers Showcase kickoff event on March 2nd at the California Auto Museum in Sacramento. Join nearly 1,500 beer loving fans and taste our region’s amazing craft beers. Then enjoy more than 500 craft beer events during the 11 day SBW celebration of craft beer. Local restaurants, bars and breweries will offer a variety of special events including tastings, education on craft beer and more special events. Then join more than 125 brewers and up to 7,500 attendees at Capitol Beer Fest (CBF). Capitol Beer Fest is the finale event for SBW and located at the 5th Street Bridge on March 12th.
Sacramento Beer Week is much more than just enjoying specially crafted beer. It’s about a growing industry that is creating jobs and stimulating the economy.

- Today, California has more craft breweries (570) than any other state. There are currently an additional 240 breweries in planning.
- California produces more craft beer than any other state. In 2014, approximately 3.5 million barrels of beer were produced.
